searching for that perfect shoe

Image
So I spent the day walking down Santee Alley in Downtown L.A with one goal in mind and many distractions. LOL. The goal: finding the perfect pair of shoes for my younger sister's prom dress. But who can walk through an alley filled with shops selling cute clothes, accessories and shoes?! Okay…so maybe I'm just a little bit of a shopaholic. haha  I woke up this morning filling totally drained…don't know why since I didn't do anything that would result with me feeling tired yesterday. But I was and my body just felt numb to the point I just didn't want to get up. Somehow I managed to get up and shower for the day. Here's what I wore today. (just a casual outfit). We did find a cute pair of prom shoes for my sister but sadly there wasn't any in her size. So we're still on the search. Might be heading back to Santee Alley in two weeks to check if the shoes she wanted will be stocked up again. If not…then she'll just have to find some onli

HAPPY!!! Quick News Update

I'm so HAPPY, it's driving me INSANE! Why…..?? Well, early this morning I woke up around 5 a.m and eagerly waited to buy tickets to KBS' L.A K-Pop Festival hosted by Koreaboo . I woke up way before my alarm and during the whole time my heart was pounding at great speeds that I just couldn't contain my excitement. The site, ticketmaster,  which was distributed the tickets was running so slow it had me on edge. I kept thinking I wouldn't be able to buy my tickets because the site was gonna crash…but nothing of the sort happened and I was successfully able to buy my tickets. I had never once been through the adrenaline rush of buying tickets before. I mean, I've only been to four K-pop concerts and I would usually buy my tickets a few days after and was still able to get decent seats. But this time was a first. Haha. Just gotta say "morning well spent". Spent the rest of the day with mi familia and took some pics. My sister finally moved b

KPop & Me

I've been a k-pop fan since 2008 and I remember the first song and video I'd seen clearly like it was yesterday. It was a song called "Hug" by TVXQ, this was when the group was still a five member group (now a duo), though the song was released back i n January 14, 2004. I happened to come across this song while surfing youtube and fell in love with k-pop instantly (mainly because Kim Jaejoong was so attractive lol). I began looking for more and more videos of TVXQ and found other artist such as Super Junior, Girls' Generation, BoA, Big Bang and more. It was also in this year that I became a HUGE SHINee fan when they made their debut as a rookie group.  At first, I fell in love with their cute, innocent boy look (now dawning a more mature, manly look *wink wink). And I must say it fits them perfectly. As my love for k-pop grew, my family didn't seem to understand why I love to listen to music in which I didn't understand the language. It didn'

My Must-Have this Spring Season

Image
So spring is here… Recently, I have tried changing my usual black on black ensemble for a more colorful, casual chic look. Which I'm nowhere near but I'm slowly reaching. I figure since I'm getting older and tired of looking childish, I should change my style to look more my age. But I still love wearing chunky, black boots (so that won't change lol) and looking all KAWAII. Anyways…this season my must-haves consist of jeans, basic tees, knitted tops, maxi skirts and the occasional statement bottoms. My statement bottoms are simple red, plaid pants (I'll probably buy more later). This look is pretty simple and doesn't really need an explanation on how to coordinate. Every season I do tend to go with the flow and follow some of the trends during each season but usually adding my own twist to fit my look.  This season's trends seem to be full of florals, cut off tees and bohemian because many festivals/concerts are coming up. And every festival h

bored….

It's been awhile since my last post. I haven't really been in the mood to post anything up. Currently I am bored out of my mind. LOL! So I'm just going to post up random facts about myself…ha. Not sure how many I'm gonna post….so let's see how many I can think of. 1. I'm single 2. I have never had a boyfriend or even been on a date….don't know why, it just hasn't happened for me yet. 3. I will be turning 21 this summer but I often get mistaken as a 16 year old. haha. I really don't look my age…someone once told I even looked like a 12 year old. 4. I'm really short (about 5 feet tall) so I wear boots/platforms ALL the time. 5. I'm very shy but my friends don't think I am…haha. To be clear, I'm shy at first but once I get to know you, I can be really loud. 6. I'm mix (Mexican & White) and I don't speak any Spanish though. lol. I don't know why but I have been mistaken as being half Asian and Russ
